About: The Daark Archive
(Field Notes from the Mildly Damned)
They told me to stop keeping records. Said it “encouraged the phenomena.”
I told them bureaucracy encourages worse.
Welcome to The Daark Archive a collection of investigations, confessions, and accidental exorcisms from the soggy margins of Britain. Each file was written under duress, caffeine, or the influence of something that may or may not have once been a deity. Here you’ll find accounts of haunted benches, self-aware appliances, and the occasional demon with a fondness for paperwork.
My name is Sebastian Daark investigator of the inexplicable, and host of The Midland Mysteries, a podcast so unsettling it was never officially broadcast. The hard drives went missing. The servers deny all knowledge. Frankly, I envy them.
I don’t chase ghosts. They file complaints until I return the call.
This archive isn’t for believers or skeptics. It’s for the undecided — those who suspect the universe is haunted by its own bad decisions. If you’re here, you’ve probably heard something in the walls, seen a reflection that blinked the wrong time, or found a kettle humming a hymn it shouldn’t know.
Read carefully.
Laugh if you can.
And if the words on this page start rearranging themselves don’t panic. It just means the system’s listening again.
Quidquid latet apparebit.
(What is hidden will be revealed.)

Somewhere damp, probably Tuesday.
